Living room lighting

The living room is a space where you can relax, spend time with family, celebrate with friends, etc. In all these situations, there is a different atmosphere to which the lighting in the living room should adapt. In a successful plan, different lighting situations and methods are coordinated in terms of architecture and residents.
Different situations require different lighting methods. For a quiet evening, there is a very dim indirect light, which can be realized with a wall lamp, for example. Reading requires local light, which can be implemented, for example, with an interior lighting lamp that can be hung on a coffee table or with a portable foot lamp. Paintings, decorative objects and architectural features can be emphasized with spotlights. Spot lighting is good with recessed, surface-mounted or rail-mounted spot lights. In addition, a separate general lighting can be designed for the living room, for example for cleaning. Separate general lighting may not be required if there is sufficient spot and local lighting.
The light sources used in the living room must be of good quality for the colors to be reproduced as real. The lighting is best adapted to different situations when the amount of light can be adjusted.

- local lighting (eg suspended interior light, foot light)

- indirect lighting (eg wall lamp, plasterboard)

- spot lighting (eg directional spotlight)

- general lighting (eg interior lighting, LED panel)
